Now in it's 53rd season, the Sarasota Concert Band has been an important contributor to the heritage and cultural growth of the Sarasota community. The 45 musicians, performing under Music Director William J.Barbanera since 1997, annually offer the public a series of concerts, bringing the joy and love of symphonic band music to Florida's Suncoast. Great composers of the past, along with the best composers of our area, soloists of the highest caliber and accomplishment, and guest performers of international renown contribute to the continuing success of the band.
